How and when you receive funds from completed payments

How Settlement Works

After a crypto payment is confirmed, Grain converts the received cryptocurrency to your chosen settlement currency and transfers the funds to your account. By default, you receive fiat directly to your bank account. If you prefer, you can opt to receive settlement in a supported stablecoin instead.

Settlement is fully automatic. Once you configure your bank account and settlement preferences in the Grain Dashboard, every confirmed payment flows through to your account without manual intervention.

Settlement Schedule

Settlement timing depends on your chosen settlement method:

Method	Timeline	Description
Stablecoin	T+0	Funds settle same day once the payment is confirmed on-chain
ACH	T+0 / T+1	Funds settle same day or next business day depending on when the settlement is submitted
Domestic Wire	T+0 / T+1	Funds settle same day or next business day via domestic wire transfer
International Wire	T+2 / T+3	Funds settle within two to three business days via international wire transfer

Settlement scheduling is configured automatically — no manual setup required.

Final settlement timing for fiat payments is subject to the receiving bank’s processing schedule. If your settlement method is wire, additional wire transfer fees may be incurred by your bank.

Settlement Amount Calculation

The amount deposited into your bank account is the confirmed payment amount minus applicable fees:

Settlement Amount = Payment Amount (in fiat) − Transaction Fee

For example, if a customer pays the equivalent of $100.00 USD and your transaction fee rate is 1.0%:

The transaction fee is the only deduction applied by Grain. Note that if your settlement method is wire, your receiving bank may charge additional wire transfer fees.
